  1. The first thing that I would tell someone who is just starting out with Photoshop is to slow down and just have fun at first. Take the time to click on every tool and see what it does first by itself, and then, as it’s offshoot, or selected different tool. See what you can do with each tool. If you get tripped up doing something, look it up on Google or YouTube. There is a ton of information on Photoshop tools online. Most important is to have fun with what you’re doing. Life is simply too short.
